Shipping wines out of the state of Virginia has become as complicated as (if not more than) growing grapes and turning them into enjoyable wines. It seems as if the shipping laws change on a weekly basis, and often into a more complicated procedure for each state. As of January, 2009, we are allowed to freely ship wines within the state of Virginia, and to the District of Columbia, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota and New Mexico. All other states will have to be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us before ordering with questions about shipping to your specific state.

Shipping Method

The only shipping service that we are allowed to use to ship wines is FedEx with Adult Signature Required. This means there must be an adult (over 21 years of ago with a valid, government issued photo ID) present at the time of delivery to accept the package. Please think about this when placing your order. We are able to ship wine to commercial addresses as well, so it may make more sense to ship the wine to your work address, if it is allowed by your employer.

Shipping Charges

We have tried to keep our shipping costs as reasonable as possible. Shipping includes specialized wine shipping containers to protect your purchase, FedEx ground shipping, and the Adult Signature Confirmation service charge. If you purchase a full case of 12 bottles (including mixed cases), we’ll pay for the shipping as our case discount to you.
