Art Springs at North Gate: Loudoun’s Artists Celebrate Spring

Posted on April 28, 2014 by Nate Walsh

Loudoun County’s two Artists’ Cooperatives will be exhibiting their work at NorthGate Vineyard! This exhibit features photographs, paintings, prints and drawings with springtime themes from both Arts in the Village Gallery (located in eastern Leesburg) and the Gateway Gallery (located just west of Round Hill). More than a dozen artists will be participating in this joint show, organized by members of the Loudoun Arts Council.

“Art Springs” offers a unique opportunity to sample a wide diversity of Loudoun artists’ works in North Gate’s stunning tasting room. The exhibit will open from Thursday, April 10 and will continue through the end of June. The Tasting Room at North Gate Vineyard is open Thursdays through Mondays, 11 am to 6pm; the public is invited to meet the participating artists at a special Artists’ Reception on Saturday, May 10 from 1pm to 4pm. Enjoy appetizers, live jazz music and a glass of North Gate’s excellent wines, including little known varietals such as Rkatsiteli, and the provocatively named Melange Mystere! Support local art-making and wine-making and celebrate the arrival of spring!
